Just a few thoughts about Books onDemand

In my search of the world of self-publishing, I found that are many avenues to create a book. There are Books on Demand for instance, where they print your book and you sell it. 100% of all the profit goes to you. You must be willing to put out the effort to sell your book yourself, market it, and create avenues for others to see and buy your book. This can and is a good idea for the right person. If you have ambition, drive and are motived, you could do well at this. You may have to sort all this out on a learning curve but once learned, you will have gained a lot of knowledge that will be useful in long run.  Set down some goals, of where and when you want to start selling your book.  How you want to market it, such as stores, online, retailers, and the list goes on and on. Marketing a book can be a challenge but, the rewards can be great.  Let me make this statement (I believe that it really doesn`t matter who publishes your books, as long as the reader is enjoying it. Most readers are not so much interested in the publisher, as much as they are in the content.)  So books stores want big names this is true, but I believe with the opening of Books on Demand and self-publishing on the rise, sooner or later they too will be changing their minds about it.

I will posting some links for you to use if you are interested in Books on Demand or self-publishing. Check out the links to see if this avenue is right for you. I will also post a link to Editors and Preditors so that you can look their sites over as to which companies are good ones and which you should avoid.
Just look at the names ( tabs)  right below the name of this site. Click on the name that best fits your need, this will open that page for youe viewing. I hope some of this was helpful, don`t be afraid to publish your book.
