Marketing can be profitable, if you use your time, money
and effort wisely. Spending money on marketing that will not give you back a
full return is unwise. Let`s just say you, bought an add on the TV station. If
your advertisements appears when most are sleeping, or our enjoying a bright
sun filled day, who will really see you Advertisements? You have now spent money that may not bring
you the revenue you had hope for. Doing a TV add, during prime watching time is,
better. You will have a greater audiences and potential for your target market.
Thus if you are going to venture into this area make sure you find out, the time
your advertisements will run, and how many times a day it will run. TV advertisement
is good if you get the right audience’s watching. Here`s a thought, if you
spend the money for an advertisements, why not do an infomercial. There are
many possibilities for that to done. So put your thinking cap on and jump in all
the way. Radio advertisements work the
same way, yet they do have some differences.
Try talking to local radio stations, about being interviewed concerning
your book. Find out what kind of audience’s they target, make sure it is ones
that fit the same type you book you are advertising. For instances if you write
Horror Books you wouldn`t want to advertise on a Christian station, or the
other way around, Am just saying that you might miss your target audience.
I have a friend of mine who works for a radio station;
I have set many interviews with him and found it works out very well. During the interview times on the radio, he
simply asks various questions concerning what I was being interviewed for. I answered
his questions which gave me the opportunity, to share all the events that were coming
into play. Radio interviews work much like a TV infomercials, but you’re at a
radio station. I did the interviews in prime driving time, so I would target a
large audience. So marketing is knowing
when, where and how, Timing is key.
